How much noise will the windows actually block?

Most Sydney homes see up approx 33 - 44 Decibels (dB) reduction in traffic and aircraft noise with acoustic double-glazing units. The exact figure depends on your glass choice, frame conditions, and type of noise - we'll give you a realistic estimate at your free assessment.

What's the diffeence between acoustic and standard double glazing?

Standard double-glazing has two panes of glass with an air gap. Acoustic units add glass with a sound-damping interlayer, and the panes are different thickness to break up sound waves. That's what lets them cut the low-frequency rumble from planes and trucks that ordinary double glazing wont touch.

How much do noise reduction windows cost?

It depdnds on the product, colour, and design you choose - different products have different time frames. As a guide, allow approximately 12 weeks from order to installation. We'll give you a clear timeline upfront so you know exactly what to expect.

Can you replace windows without damaging my walls?

Yes. We specialise in retrofitting replacement windows into existing openings with minimal disruption to plaster, render, or brickwork. Our installers are trained to leave your home exactly as they found it - only quieter.

I’ve had a wonderful experience with the team at Oknalux. They custom-made my doors to match a Pinterest photo I loved, and the result is absolutely perfect, they look identical to what I had envisioned. The team was friendly, professional, and a pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process. After installation, one of the new timber doors was a little tight to open and close. As we’d had a lot of rain, I wanted to give the timber time to dry out first. When it was still tight a few weeks later, they came back promptly and made the necessary adjustments without any fuss.
